LWC has existed since the 1980's.  In those days they held large gatherings and rituals.  One year Rosemary Reuther was the keynoter.  Since the late '90's they have existed mainly as a meditation group meeting on Sundays and Tuesdays with mostly different women attending.  They have about 20 women on their contact list. They have a love offering bowl in which donations are collected to pay part of the rent and supplies for their meeting space. Polly Johnson is the contact person for the group.  She is the "treasurer" and handles the donations received.  LWC is not a 501(c)(3) but gives gifts to WCC, WATER and various charities in the Louisville area and abroad as they are able.
