Genesis

Genesis is a Mary’s Pence grant recipient based out of Oakland California. They unite income-diverse and multi-racial people to create effective solutions to community issues, including establishing a youth bus pass program called the Genesis Freedom Riders program.

Guatemala

These eggs are produced by chickens that a group of women in Quiche, Guatemala invested in using a loan from an ESPERA program community lending pool.

Honduras

This is an example of the jewelry one woman makes and sells using loans from a community lending pool shared by women in the ESPERA group Red de Mujeres Unidas in Honduras.

JustEconomics

Just Economics, an economic justice advocacy organization based in Asheville, North Carolina, brings low-income people and people of privilege together to advocate for a better community. Their Mary’s Pence grant funded education on systemic change issues, advocacy for living wages.

Justice Project

The Justice Project, a Mary’s Pence grant recipient, uses an individualized and holistic approach to provide long-term advocacy and guidance to women navigating the criminal justice system and other social service systems in Kansas City, Missouri.
